I have a memory to share and I think Richie would be laughing his ass off just remembering this. For a while he was a unit orderly and was in charge of cleaning the bathroom closest to our rooms. There was this black fella that used to stand way back from the urinal. He had so much pressure built up that he could send a stream a good 10 feet and then when his stream got short he would just pee on the floor. This guy had huge calves. So one day I was taking a piss and I look up on the wall and here a drawing of this black guy with huge calves standing way back from the urinal pissing his 10 foot stream. Above the picture it said HEY FOUNTAIN DICK, QUIT PISSING ON THE FLOOR!!!!!
The time that Richie spent on that sign. It was perfect and when I saw that sign I laughed so hard. I'll never forget Richie he was one hell of a guy.

I was in Waseca MN in the big house with Richie and Id be lying if I said we didn't have fun there. Richie was one of my favorite friends that I met there. I met a lot of people but he was always cracking jokes and making me laugh. What a funny guy he was. I have been trying to look Jim up and had no luck. And just today my friend Eric told me of him passing. I am so sorry for your loss.A great man he was.

This is tough, I miss you man!! I miss our Saturday talks albeit only 15 minutes a week, but you thought enough of me and were there every week to call me and tell me what was going on and how you were doing. this is the first I have heard and I am so crushed!! you were the best man I ever knew, forgiving, honest to a fault, and always fun to be with! may you be resting in peace and flying high to watch over all of us who miss you!! love you RICHIE!! I hate that you are gone and don't know how or why, but you never got to live your life and that saddens me! but you did what you wanted and lived on your terms and probably died on them as well. You looked very happy in the end. I will love you and think of you always

My heartfelt condolences to the Mroch family. I haven't seen Richie since the mid 90s and often thought/wondered about him. I was recently out at a bar here in Southern, IL and a bunch of bikers pulled in. I went out for a smoke and ran into a local Outlaw so I asked him if he knew of Richie and that's when I learned the horrible news. Turns out he and others made the trip up north for the services, that's how I found out (small world). Back in the day, Richie and I hung out starting at Winchells Donuts (as teens) in Lyons where we met to later Tom and Jerry's ( 20's) in Summit. I always thought he was so sweet regardless of his bad ass image and we really did share a wonderful friendship. Fond memories of many morning breakfasts back then, just talking about life in general. May he finally find the peace he was searching for. God Bless.

My nephews eyes have gone forever, his smile, his laugh, his face, Where once he stood before us, a picture takes his place. Gone too soon, a wonderful man, from here, this worldly place. I can't believe that this is real, that you will no longer walk this Earth. Reality is, I know it's true, but still I can't believe. A wonderful man with so much life really had to leave. I loved you from the time we met. I watched you grow and learn. My nephew we shall meet again, when it's our time to return. I will always remember you with fondness and pure love. God took you home much too soon it seems almost cruel, but God has a plan and I believe.Love and respect to Carole and Mark.
