To My Brother,
Dearest Warren,
I know you went thru some hard times. But you always had a smile and a joke to tell. I still remember a lot of your corny jokes, and when I tell others they cannot help but laugh too. It seems like your good humor and fun nature has touched a lot of people, making your memory even brighter.
I remember as children walking down to the trailer park to buy a soft drink. You always had an extra 20 cents for me. I remember how you let me ride your bicycle when I did not have one. I remember how you taught me how to ride a motorcycle. I remember you selling me my very first motorcycle. I could not appreciate you more. Life is so short. I regret not spending more time with you, playing the guitar together, and riding our motorcycles together.
You taught me how to do so many things. You could work on electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, anything you put your mind too. I remember many times calling you and asking for advice. I remember racing the buggy's at the Lincoln County off road club. We both had to stop because the mud was so bad it was caked on our faces, and even thru our goggles. We could not finish the race. We were in 3rd and 4th, but we did not know it until afterwards. But we both had such a good time. I remember the Christmases you and I spent together. It was always nice to be with family. We would stay up all night, talking about the past, the good times, and the future.
You spent so much time with my son and daughter. Thank you for being their uncle, they both have such fond memories of you. Whether it was around the bonfire, riding in your boat, or just listening to your jokes. They would always have a story to tell when talking about the fun times that they had together with you.
I am sure you are in heaven now, with Uncle Connie, Uncle Denver, and Uncle Clyde, playing a game of cards, laughing and telling jokes, with Jackson and Sydney at your feet. Or you are all watching the Nascar races, each cheering for your favorite driver.
I will miss you and I love you brother, til we see each other again!
Love Always,
Max
I will miss you a lot, Uncle Warren. You were such a great uncle who always tried his best and made my day whenever you would stop by. Such a great guy and an awesome person. I hope everything is okay up there and that soon, we will see each other again and joke around like we used to.
