Diane W. Schillaci

Age 73, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.
Diane was born September 6, 1947, to the late Lillian and Walter Vasilauskis in Chicago, IL where she was raised and graduated with the class of 1965 from Kelly High School.
She is the beloved wife of Stephen Schillaci; loving mother of Donna (Dan) Bishop, Steve (Cheryl) Schillaci, John (Laura) Schillaci, and Deana (Dave) Lavigne; proud grandmother of Kelsey and Tyler; Alyssa, Stevie, and Brianna.
Preceded in death by her parents and her twin brother Donald Vasilauskis.
Diane enjoyed life and focused on making everyone around her happy. Her hobbies included bowling, camping, travel, and the occasional visit to the casino.
Visitation for Diane will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 3 - 8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris, IL. Facemasks and distancing will be observed as well as current capacity restrictions of 50 people at a time. A service of remembrance will conclude the evening. Cremation rites will be accorded after services. In lieu of flowers memorials in Diane's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
