Obituary of Rin Ouch

Age 69, a longtime Joliet, IL resident passed away Tuesday morning, November 10, 2020 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center.  Born December 17, 1950 in Cambodia, Rin emigrated to the United States and after a short stay in California, settled in Joliet aspiring to provide a stable and loving home for her family.

She is the loving mother of Moeun Long (Cristina Gloria), Savon Ouch and Tyla Long (Danny Martinez); beloved grandmother of Victoria, Adaline, Emmanuel and Valerie; cherished wife of Arnold Gronau; dear sister of Kong (Somphor) Ouch, Monica Ouch and Melanie (Binn) Meth.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Rin will be remembered fondly for her strength, perseverance and dedication to her family.  She enjoyed the simple things in life, the peace and sanctity of her home and time spent with loved ones and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.)
