Obituary of John Gestel

John M. Gestel Age 42, of Joliet, died suddenly Thursday, April 19, 2012. Born June 23, 1969 to Marilyn and the late William B. Gestel. Graduate of St. Paul Grade School and Joliet West Class of 1987. He received a Bachelor's degree in business from the College of St. Francis. Employed at Barraco Restaurant, primarily in the catering division. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching the WWE. Survived by his beloved mother, Marilyn; brothers, Fred, Dave and Robert Gestel; dear uncle of Kristen, Keira and Tyler Gestel; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, William (2006). Funeral Services for John M. Gestel will be Monday, April 23, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
