Bernie and I were sisters in Christ. We met through a mutual friend. Our first meetings were over the phone, then in person.we became good friends. Although we we where not in touch as often, we did remain friends. I loved Bernie and always will.

Your smiling face and kind heart will be missed! You were in my life for 30+ years and shared my wedding with me and many dinners and BBQ's with my mom and dad! You brought such joy and sunshine wherever you went and your love for dogs (your Sadie) is endearing. You will be missed by many, but I think of it as I have another angel looking down on us. I wish you and your family peace.

We will always remember Bernie for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was always giving—always thinking of others and of little ways she could let them know she cared. She would even send Acini di Pepe for Phil because she knew it was his favorite pasta and it was hard for him to find it here. She enfolded us into her family and for that we will always be grateful. We love and miss you, Bernie. Rest in the sweet peace of our Lord Jesus.

Bernie and I met at St. Francis High School where she spent her Freshman year. I lived in Westchester so we weren’t too far away from each other. The first time I was a bridesmaid was at her wedding. Our lives took many twists and turns but we always kept in touch and became closer in the last few years. I remember well her parents and brother and how the love in that family was so evident. It formed her outlook on life. Through many adversities in her life she retained a sense of humor and a deep love for her family and friends. In the past year or so, whenever I spoke to her she talked about how lucky she was to have such caring children and their spouses who she loved as well. She was so lucky to have been given the care she had from her family. You gave her a gift beyond measure when you made her last months so special for her. May the love she felt for all of you sustain you now and in years to come.
Blessings to all of you,
Sherry Nybo Lynch

This lady right here was one of the sweetest women of God I've known. She made me feel welcomed when I join choir many years ago. We shared music together, laughs, prayers and love together over the years she was a part of choir! She will be missed!!
I pray for comfort and peace for the family as they walk through this valley.
