Age 72. Passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at home with her loving family by her side. A member of Ingalls Park United Methodist Church, and the Women of the Moose Chapter 84 for over 50 years. She loved collecting dolls and bears; and enjoyed bowling, camping and going to car shows in her old cars with her husband.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Florence (nee North) Craven; one son, James Robert; and two brothers, James and Martin Craven.
Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edwin Gibson; children, Richard Sr. (Susan) Gibson, Tami (Michael) Lyday and Wendy (Michael) Stirewalt; grandchildren, Jennifer (Myron Sr.) Lesley, Richard Jr. (Brenda) Gibson, Briann, Nathan and Karrah Lyday; Dean VanderZanden and Cody Gibson; step-grandchildren, Erik (Lana) Lyday; Laura and Lisa Stirewalt; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Tiara Gaines, Myron Jr., Tyrell, Jayden, and Jamal Lesley; James, Brendan, and Richard Gibson; step-great-grandchild, Nora Lyday; siblings, Hank (Kim) Craven, Patti Craven, Fred (Nancy) Craven and Jackie (Herb Deces) Senter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Emma Mae Gibson will be Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at:
