Eva Katherine Drees, age 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2020, surrounded by loved ones, at Joliet Area Community Hospice.   She was born November 11, 1950, to the late Archie and Louise Hubbard in Oak Hill, OH.

Kathy spent her working career as a school bus driver for the Troy School district, which she later retired from after 35 years.  She loved camping at Woodhaven Lakes, bowling, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Drees of 51 years; she is the beloved mother of Bobbie Jo (Dan) White and Kellie Drees; devoted grandmother of Samantha (Freddy) Zinkiewicz, Brittany Fuller, Kayla Zinkiewicz, Madison (Nate) Roehr, Kyle Spalliero, Nicholas and Frank Jr., Roehr; and great grandmother of Danial, Mariah and Wyatt.  She is also survived by siblings, Lorie (the late Gene) Boggs, Archie (Willyne) Hubbard and Tom (Brenda) Hubbard; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Louise Hubbard; a brother Rick Hubbard; and son-in-law, Frank Roehr.

Visitation for Eva Katherine Drees will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Back Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. In accordance with the Illinois guidelines, a 10 person capacity will be followed.  Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.  As it was her request, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
