Leonard J. Wydajewski, Sr.
Age 78, of Plainfield, IL and formerly Pontiac and Lansing, IL passed Thursday December 3, 2020.
He was born November 19, 1942 to the late Lucille (nee Rustick) and John Wydajewski in Chicago, IL and was raised on the south side of the city.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Kathleen (nee Ryan) Wydajewski and his parents.
Surviving Leonard is one daughter, Michelle Dekker (Rick Prendergast) of Plainfield; two sons, Leonard (Connie) Wydajewski of Pontiac, and Kenneth (Renee) Wydajewski of Manassas, VA; three grandchildren, Katelyn Dekker, and Austin and Brianna Wydajewski; one brother, Joseph (Kathie) Wydajewski and several nieces and nephews.
He was employed for many years with RR Donnelly beginning at the 22nd street facility near McCormick Place in Chicago and culminating his career at the Pontiac, IL facility, retiring in 2008. In his free time Len thoroughly enjoyed fishing and golf.
Due to current conditions services for Leonard were held privately. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to the American Heart Association.
