Obituary of Harry C. Huyser
Harry C. Huyser, age 83, of Joliet, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born on June 3, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the son of Mathew and Jennie (nee Speelman) Huyser.
Harry was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and a loving and devoted family man.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl (Vree) Huyser; three sons, Larry (Tammie) Huyser, Kevin (Lynne) Huyser and John (Julie) Huyser; seven grandchildren, Michael Gentry, Adam, Brian, Mathew, Erica and Emily Huyser, Maria (Kyle) Isabelli; two great-grandchildren, Nora and Maxwell Isabelli; and two brothers, Henry (Edna) Huyser and William (Jan) Huyser.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol (nee VanBruggen) Huyser; his parents; brothers, Richard and Peter Huyser; and two sisters, Harriet Veldkamp and Tracy Vander Linden.
Funeral Services for Harry C. Huyser will be held privately by the family. Fred C. Dames Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. As it was Harry’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
