Dick was one of the best. He always had the kindest words for people. Dick was so sweet to my son's Jason and Jeff. It couldn't have been easy as a dentist trying to help Jason but Dick was so kind and always treated Jason as a good friend. I loved him and always will. RIP Dick.

The Hunckler Family was one of the rocks our Parkview neighborhood Family was built on.
"Dickie" you were always there to share a kind word of encouragement, a laugh, a smile; even when all the boys would line up to get our fresh buzz cut before the 1st day of school. Thank you & your family for being great people that I consider family. I always looked up to you; literally, because I was the runt of the neighborhood.
Dick you were an inspiration to us all. We will never forget your Strong, yet Quiet Kindness. Rest in Peace brother!

We are so shocked and saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Dick. We had so many fun adventures with Dick and Jane over the past years., especially our Rhine River Cruise.. We will miss his quick wit, easy and booming laugh, and most of all his friendship.
To a great golfer and an even better friend, may you rest in peace . We salute you with an obligatory "half "a beer!
Your buds,
The Campbells

My heart is broken for the Hunkler family. Mrs. Hunkler is my mom's best friend. Dick is my dear friend Kay's cousin. I remember as children playing with Dick and his brothers when our parents got together. Fun times. In later years I did not see him often but always heard he was the same sweet guy he had always been. I will always treasure those childhood memories. My prayers are with the entire Hunkler family. May Dick be in the loving presence of our Lord. God bless you all.

Dear aunt Mary, cousins Steve, Mark and Jimmy.
Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we are by the passing of Dick. We just talked with him a couple weeks ago when he called to thank us for the Christmas card we sent to aunt Mary. We were so looking forward to seeing him down here in Florida. This Covid19 thing is preventing us from seeing you all on this sad occasion. Perhaps when it is over, that can happen. We are sending hugs and love.

We are so very sad to read of Dick’s passing. He was a wonderful guy, friend, and dentist. Our condolences to Jane and his entire family. One of the many things that rang true in his obituary, was that he didn’t initially want to talk about himself, but wanted to know your story. So true. With a bit of gentle pressing/questioning, he eventually would talk about himself. He certainly loved his two children. He so enjoyed his son, and was very proud of his daughter and her accomplishments. And his use of the endearing phrase, “my Janey”, pretty much says it all.
Rest In Peace, Dick. May The Lord wrap you in his loving arms.
Dale and Sandy Rodeghero

Rest In Peace Doctor Hunckler. Doc was a compassionate human being who always had a smile on his face and a firm meaningful handshake when we’d cross paths. He rests at the right hand of The Father for all eternity. God Bless his family and Jane.
