Geraldine E. Woolsey

Age 88, of Minooka, IL passed away Tuesday December 22, 2020.  She was born October 15, 1932 to the late Elizabeth (nee Surry) and Edward Siebert in Chicago Heights where she was raised and educated.

She is the beloved mother Fara Jordan, Nila Dionne, Charles “Chuck” Dionne and Michael “Mike” Dionne; loving grandmother of Michelle (Jason) Sniezewski, Dannielle Hoffman,Mellissa (Eric) Backus, Kellie (Tony) Brooks, Edward Dionne, Matthew Dionne, Colleen Dionne, Joseph Dionne and Jessica (Matthew) Bish; proud great-grandmother of Tyler, Elizabeth, David, Mira, Grace, Clara and Elsie; dear sister of Raymond Siebert and Karen Mear.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Woolsey; son-in-law, John Jordan; sister, Lois Bock, sister-in-law, Phyllis Siebert; brother-in-law, James Mear as well as an infant son.

Jeri will be remembered fondly by her family as a very warm and caring soul who had an artsy flair about her.  She enjoyed ceramics and sewing, but nothing made her smile brighter than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday December 28, 2020 at the Church of St. Jude 2212 McDonough Street in Joliet, IL from 9:00 a.m. until her Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place Monday afternoon, 1:00 p.m. at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
