Obituary of Debra Jean Berglund

Age 62, a former longtime Joliet, IL resident passed away Thursday morning December 17, 2020 in Boston, MA.

Debbie was born August 30, 1958 to the late Irene (nee Stober) and Ralph Hietschold, Jr in Joliet. Raised in Crest Hill, she was a graduate of Lockport Township High School.  Debbie resided in Joliet until moving to Massachusetts several years ago with her husband, Dwight.  She enjoyed the New England area, particularly spending time with her family on Cape Cod.

She is the beloved wife of 41 years to Dwight Lee Berglund; loving mother of Amanda (James) Henk, Jr of Carpentersville, IL and Allyson (Bryan) Cohen of Boston, MA; proud grandmother of Ethan and Audrey; dear sister of  David (the late Janet) Hietschold, Dale Hietschold, Doug (Barb) Hietschold and Dawn (Jim) Pritz; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald in infancy.
