Edward Joseph Suski

Edward Joseph Suski, age 85, of Crest Hill, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at his late residence, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born in Joliet, the son of the late Joseph and Verna (Chapman) Suski, living in Crest Hill most of his life. Ed graduated from Joliet Township High School with the Class of 1954.  He retired from the Joliet Herald News as a Printer following 43 years of service.  Ed was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was heavily involved with Crest Hill boy’s baseball.  He thoroughly enjoyed golf as a young man, followed the Lassie Drill Team, and loved his many pets over the years. Ed and Donna were avid travelers and would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on January 27th.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Williams) Suski of Crest Hill; his son, Keith (Tami) Suski of Grand Junction, MI; one granddaughter, Brittany Suski; great-granddaughter, Elena Suski; sister, Delores (the late Ray) Riemer of Shorewood; and brother-in-law, Mark A. (Janeen) Williams of Canton, OH.  Nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded by his daughter, Kim Suski (September 26, 2016), and his parents.

As it was Ed’s request, cremation rites have been accorded.  A Memorial Visitation for Edward Joseph Suski will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Fred C.
