Obituary of David Kuta
Age 66, of Channahon, IL and formerly Glenwood, IL passed Friday evening, January 29, 2021, at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.
He was born December 19, 1954, in Chicago to the late Evelyn (Rasco) and Edward Kuta and was raised in Midlothian, IL a graduate of Bremen High School, Class of '73.
Beloved husband of Margaret J. (Rader) Kuta; loving father of Shawn (Terri) Rader, Glenn (Michelle) Kuta, Kristina (Jacob) Wold, and Katelyn Kuta; proud grandfather of Robert, Alexander, Lilyann, Niklous, and another grandson due mid-February; Also survived by his brother, Wayne (Glenda) Kuta; nephew, Steven, and niece, Maureen.
Dave was an Engineer for the CSX Railroad for over twenty years and was previously retired from Dominicks Finer Foods after 25 years.
In addition to being an awesome dad, his hobbies included golfing, fishing, and bowling. He also enjoyed spending time at the shooting range and eventually teaching his kids to enjoy all of his hobbies with him.
Private funeral services for Dave will be Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd) Joliet. A public visitation will follow the services from 2 – 4 p.m.
