Bonnie J. Russell, passed away at the age of 92, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL.  Bonnie was born in Harlan County, KY, on July 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Robert and Ada (nee Saylor) Burgan.  Bonnie grew up in Dixie Town, KY before relocating to Chicago in 1945.  Bonnie and Virgil relocated to Dandridge, TN in 1978 after retirement. After the passing of her husband in 1995, she relocated to the Plainfield area to be with her daughters.   Bonnie retired from Continental Can Company after 17 dedicated years working on the manufacturing line making cans.  

Bonnie was a loving mother and faithful wife for almost 50 years.  Her foundation was her Christian faith which carried her through many severe illnesses.  A spunky personality and loving disposition defined her amazing life.  Her family will miss the joy she brought to the world every day.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Lola (John) Cresson and Nona Moore; grandchildren, Evette Danielak, Merissa Zydell, and Rachel Moore; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jocelyn; siblings, E.L., Andy, Charles, Don, Opal, Julia Mae, Blanche, and Genette.

She is preceded by her parents and her son, Virgil Revis.

Funeral Services for Bonnie J. Russell were held privately by the family.  As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will take place at Dandridge Memorial Gardens in Tennessee.
