Condolences to the Johnston family. My brothers and I share many great memories of playing years of softball along side Jim at Joliet Park District fields for the Irving AC. Jim was a spirited competitor and just a great guy to be around. Rest in peace old friend.

Mr. Johnston's passing is a great loss to the community and all those who worked for him at Joliet Public Library, but pales in comparison to the loss I know you feel. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
