Obituary of Richard Glossop

Richard A. Glossop "Al" Age 85, of The Villages, FL died January 11, 2011. He was born in Winchester, IL and moved to The Villages from Downers Grove, IL in 1996. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, and a life member of VFW. He was a private pilot, and enjoyed dancing, and boating. Member of Leisure Lake Resort in Joliet, and Woodsmoke Ranch in Seneca. He retired from Fisher Body in Willow Springs after 34 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty (nee Landreth) whom he married September 2,1951; his sister, Betty Jean Six of Winchester, IL; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Landreth of Joliet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Richard A. Glossop will be Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Kevin Comfort officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
