Robert Jerry Glover
"Jerry"
Age 69, of Minooka, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at home with his family by his side. Born June 14, 1941 in Joliet, he was the son of the late John and Elda (Peart) Glover. He was a graduate of Lewis University and worked as a professional salesperson for Farmer's Insurance, Allianz, and Heckamon Homes.
Jerry was an avid bow hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, and member of the NRA. He also had a lifelong passion for music and loved playing with the Telecasters, Foggy Mountain Band, and MacKenzie River Band. He will also be remembered by his family as their amateur comedian.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Catherine M. (McClintock) Glover; son, Jonathan (Melissa) Glover of Joliet; stepson, Bill (Melissa) McClintock of Oswego; daughter, Alaina Glover of Minooka; five grandchildren, Mikayla Glover, Sabrina and Julian Chaney, and Kailey and Ava McClintock; his wife's parents, William and Donna McClintock, Sr. of Minooka; sisters-in law, Julie (Scott) Hellem. Lori (John) McClintock, Roseanne (Mark) Matteson, and Patty (John) Gretz; brothers-in-law, William (Diane) McClintock, Jr. and Mark (Liza) McClintock; his former wife, Jeannie Glover; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by his parents, and his aunt, Audrey Weese, who raised him.

Funeral services for Jerry Glover will be Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Minooka, for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Minooka. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice, St. Mary's Church Building Fund, or an education fund for his daughter, Alaina, would be appreciated.
