I was viewing a YouTube video about a celebration at the Rialto Theatre and saw Lynne, went online and sadly discovered her passing this past February. My condolences to her family and friends - whenever Lynne visited us at JOSCO, she brought a smile and her positive energy radiated to everyone around her. She was a constant source of uplifting energy and support after I was seriously burned in an accident in 1995 and asked me to speak to a group of her friends about how I kept a positive attitude in spite of a nearly-fatal incident. I was fortunate to call her a friend and am richer for having known her.

Lynne was such a wonderful person. When I was appointed to the WCMEAA (Rialto board) back in the 80's, she was an invaluable help to me. She and Dorothy Mavrich embodied the Rialto Theater. She certainly knew that theater better than anyone (except maybe Dorothy M.) Everything she did was with such a caring and kind heart. The whole community benefited from her personal glow. There will never be anyone who could fill the void that her passing has caused. My heartfelt condolences to her loved ones.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Lynne. I met her through the Rialto many years ago, and was only a brief flash in her extraordinary life. That was in the late 80's. She liked me and the feeling was mutual. She set an example of giving and friendship. What a happy, gracious, beautiful human who loved my homemade peanut brittle. I always hoped we would meet again. Bet she's organizing some committee in heaven already. Thank you for sharing her with the world.

I had the pleasure of serving on the Joliet Area Historical Museum Board with Lynn. Her tireless commitment to the community and her endless energy and positive attitude in the face of challenges is something I will always remember and admire her for. I always enjoyed catching up with her over a giant salad at Jitters Café - she will truly be missed.........but never forgotten by those that knew her.
