Obituary of Thomas R. Caulfield
Thomas R. Caulfield, age 68, of Oak Forest, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Joliet Area Community Hospice with his loving daughters and sons-in-law by his side.
Born February 25, 1953 in Chicago, he was the son of the late Thomas B. and Carmela A. (Arduini) Caulfield, and was a graduate of Little Flower High School, Class of 1971. Tom worked as a truck driver and was a proud member of Teamster’s Local #705.
Tom was a great dad and “Pops” who had a lot of love for his children and grandchildren. He was a man of few words, but had a big heart. He will be remembered for his special smile and sense of humor.
Tom was the beloved and devoted husband of Carol (Rose) Caulfield who preceded him in death January 3, 2011.
Surviving are his loving daughters, Trisha (Brian) Koerner of Plainfield, and Caitlin (Jeremy) Pell of Oak Forest; six adoring grandchildren, Cailey, Caiden, Casey and Cassidy Koerner, and Cooper and Jackson Pell; and one sister, Teresa Caulfield. He was also a beloved uncle and a friend to many.
