Age 81. At rest Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born June 28, 1930 in Evanston, IL to the late Nicholas and Margaret (nee Allare) Tures, formerly of Peotone, residing in Joliet since 1949. Graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing Class of 1951. A registered nurse at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center ER, retiring in 1995. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill, CCW, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Geri was a diehard Chicago White Sox fan, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Surviving are two children, Judi (Scotty) Kropf of Joliet and Tom Gollick of Joliet; three grandchildren, Amanda (Luis) Garcia, Nicholas (Malia) Thompson and Zachary (Desiree) Horvat; six great-grandchildren, Zoey, Lacey, Lexi, Landon, Kailana and Koa; one brother, Donald (Phyllis) Tures of Manhattan; one sister, Frances (James) Naal-Sczepaniak of Joliet; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard Gollick (1993); her brother-in-law, Albert C. Naal, Jr.; her in-laws, Edith and Tony Gollick; and aunt and Godmother, Sr. Loretta Tures, O.S.F.
Funeral Services for Geraldine L. Gollick will be Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Enshrinement Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials in her name to the family for donation to Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center Healing Garden would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 3-8 p.m. at:
