Donald L. Struble
Age 75 of Marseilles, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. He was born in Moline, IL, the son of the late Clair Struble and Mary Kitt. He was formerly of Joliet, IL living in Marseilles for the past 15 years. He attended Rockridge High School in Taylor Ridge, IL. Don was an accomplished musician, who loved to bring joy to others around him through song, especially when harmonizing with his late wife, Betty. He was also formerly a proud local 174 union carpenter who worked a large part of his career for Graycor Industries.
Don is survived by his children, Mike (Teresa) Struble of Hanna, IN, Tim (Mary Ann) Struble of Woodhull, IL, Kim (Harold) Nylin of Keithsburg, IL, Daniel (Sharon) Struble of Plainfield, Shelly (Jack Standard) McKinnon of Morris and David McKinnon of IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Gary (Jo) Struble of Davenport, IA.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Struble, stepson, James McKinnon, brother, David Struble, and grandson, Sascha Struble.
