Obituary of Miguel Miranda
Age 18, of Joliet, IL passed suddenly Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He was born May 12, 2002 in Berwyn, IL, and was raised in Crest Hill and Joliet by his devoted grandparents, Maria and Diego Reyes after Miguel’s loving and caring mother Manuela passed away.
In addition to his beloved grandparents, he is also survived by his sisters, Hilda Reyes, Margarita (Rafael Carrera) Reyes and Maria Reyes; brothers, Juan Diego Reyes and Moises Miranda. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Miguel attended local grade schools and graduated from Joliet West High School. His hobbies included music, skateboarding and gaming. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Cosalima. He was loved by most and will be missed by many.
Visitation for Miguel Miranda will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd.), Joliet. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 205 E. Jackson St., Joliet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Miguel’s Mass will be live-streamed which can be accessed by visiting Mt. Carmel Church Joliet Facebook page.
