I am grateful to count myself among those that knew Sue. I will miss seeing her smile, and hearing her laugh at our birthday parties. She had an easy way about her. I think she enjoyed making people laugh. To the family... I wish you love, healing, beautiful memories and peace.

Sue & Sharon at our wedding Aug 2011
If you look closely, you can clearly see by the sparkle in her eyes she's up to no good! :)

Sue and Sharon always came to my church's Murder Mystery Dinners. They would love to dress up for the themes and we would have an amazing time! We had just as much fun sitting in the back yard and just enjoying each other's company. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Sue in the Spinal Cord Unit. She was the best nurse I ever had the pleasure to work with. We would laugh every day she really enjoyed working there and she kept us all in line. You could see the passion that she had in being a nurse an a Veteran. I missed her when she left but I was glad she retired and spent that retirement with her wife traveling and visiting friends and family. God bless you.

I had the privilege of serving with Sue many years ago in the 63rd. I will always remember her soft spot for the elderly and her hilarious stories. But then Sue had that gift, she could read the dictionary and make it sound funny. At some of the 63rd functions the DJ would play Unchained Melodies and I would ask Sue to dance. She'd always say yes. Time and life took us in different directions but Sharon and I reconnected some months ago on Facebook. My husband and I had plans to get together with Sue and Sharon after COVID "settled down". Sadly, that day didn't come in time; a regret I will feel for a very long time. Rest easy friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sue and her wife Sharon years ago. I’m so deeply saddened. She was a very generous and sweet lady and will truly be missed. My heartfelt condolences to her wife and family.
