Obituary of Arlene Gooday

Arlene Flatness Gooday (nee Bertucci) Age 68, of Minooka, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Arlene retired from the phone company after many years of service, and later worked for the former Empress Casino in security. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed. Survived by her two sons, Robert (Carrie) Flatness of Seneca, and Gerald (Lynda) Flatness of Marseilles; four grandchildren, Grace, Mason, Connor and Clayton; two brothers, George Bertucci of Rockdale, and Bob (Maxine) Bertucci of New Lenox; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents, James "Jiggi" and Olive Bertucci; three sisters, Mary, Carol Jo, and June; and one brother, Stumpy. Funeral services for Arlene Gooday will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation WEDNESDAY MORNING, FROM 9-11 A.M. FRED C.
