Obituary of Beverly A. James

Beverly A. James, age 86 of Joliet, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at her late residence.  She was born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Spellman) James, she was a lifelong resident.  Beverly was formerly employed by Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Shirley (late Art) Weese of Crest Hill; her brother, Robert James of Joliet; her sister-in-law, Lillian James of Joliet, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents and five siblings, Phyllis Hegland, Lois Anderson, Betty James, Nancy Freih, and William James.

A Memorial Gathering will be Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd.
