Obituary of Marc Freeman

Marc “Uncle Muckie” Freeman, age 82, passed away on April 22, 2021 in his hometown of Joliet, IL.

Marc was born in Chicago, to Harry and Rose Freeman on April 9, 1939.  He married Nancy Gordon on April 22, 1961 in Chicago.  He was a Realtor for many years and also an agent for Farmer’s Insurance.

Marc is preceded in death by his father, Harry; mother, Rose; and brother, Marvin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Freeman; his daughter, Robyn Freeman; his brother, Barry Freeman; his grandchildren, Anat Pissetzky and Elan Pissetzky; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, David and Diane Klevens; and dear friend, David Molandro.  Marc was also a beloved uncle and friend to many.

Visitation for Marc Freeman will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, (at Essington Road), Joliet.  From 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m. with Rabbi Emeritus Charles Rubovits officiating.  Interment will be held privately by the family. The family has requested to live stream the services of their loved one on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. Please click on this link (https://youtu.be/0Xf72gaVp-E) and follow the instructions to show your support for them at a time when you cannot be physically present, but your thoughts, prayers and connection are.
