Obituary of William Goodwin

William L. Goodwin "Bill" Age 50, of Good Shepherd Manor in Momence, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at Provena St. Mary Hospital in Kankakee. He was born in Joliet July 5, 1957 to the late Lavern and Mary (nee Clennon) Goodwin. Bill, a kind, gentle spirit, had a knack of drawing people in. Although he couldn't express himself verbally, he communicated with everyone with whom he came in contact. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He is the beloved brother of Judy (Tim) Robowski, Jack (Paula), Jim (Lauri), and Mark (Jana) Goodwin. Dear brother-in-law of Anne Goodwin. Fond uncle of Scott Robowski and Matthew, Bryan, Daniel, Emily, Elizabeth, Patrick, Kevin and Kaitlyn Goodwin. He is also survived by his great nephew Jerred; two aunts, Anne McEvilly and Frances Clennon; one uncle Howard Goodwin and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom, and an infant sister Mary. The Goodwin family would like to express their gratitude to the kind, compassionate staff of Good Shepherd Manor and to the staff of Provena St. Mary's in Kankakee , in particular the nurses of SICU, for their warm and loving care rendered to Bill. Funeral services for William L. Goodwin took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris.
