Obituary of Ardath Gorman
Ardath C. Gorman
Age 95. Passed away Sunday June 3, 2007 at Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield. Born August 13, 1911 in Joliet to the late John and Louise Gorman, she was a lifetime resident. Retired from F.W. Woolworth Company, after many years of service in the toy department. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Surviving are her faithful nieces, Nancy L. Gobrecht (Chuck Lofborn), Jacqueline (Robert) Newberry and Judith (Gregory) Gahala and many other nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Lakewood Nursing Center in Plainfield and their entire staff, Dr. Chawla and his staff for their many years of service; Dr. Sam, his staff, the staff at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center and Joliet Area Community Hospice. A very special thank you to Sara Littlejohn and Kay Renje and the entire staff at Interim Health Care.
All friends and relatives are invited to gather at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Romeoville on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 or St. Patrick Adopt-a-Child Fund, 710 W.
