Martha Senisais

Age 72, of Joliet, IL and formerly Tucson, AZ passed away at home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.  She was born February 23, 1949 to the late Maria Loisa and Antonio Gamboa in Tucson where she was raised and educated.

In 1974 Martha married Esteban “Steve” Senisais.  They made Tucson their home in 1974, then moving to Joliet in 1987 raising their family and creating many memories here over the years.

She is the beloved wife of 46 years to Steve; loving mother of the late Richard (Diana) Senisais, Linda (Eric) Melby, the late Debbie Senisais, Esteban (Ginger) Senisais and Suzanne (Federico)Senisais; proud grandmother and great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Maria Lupe (Bob) Boyles, Helen (late Daniel) Linden, Patricia (Frank) Yslas and Tony Gamboa. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Martha, a retired ER tech at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

She will be truly missed by her family but will always be remembered with much love and affection.

Visitation for Martha will be Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet.  Funeral services Monday morning June 14, 2021, 10 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Cross Catholic Church, in Joliet where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.  Interment will be held privately at a later date.
