Obituary of Suellyn Booklund

Suellyn “Sue” Booklund, age 71, of Joliet, passed away, Saturday, June 12, 2021.

She was born January 31, 1950, to the late Harold T. and Helen B. (nee Wilmette) Booklund in Joliet, where she resided all her life.  She attended St. Patrick Grade School, Class of 1964, and was a graduate of Providence High School, Class of 1968.

Sue is survived by her sisters, Kay Dickinson, Judi Booklund and Barb Booklund; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded by her parents; brother, James Booklund; and sisters, Patricia Bailey, Sharon Muren, and Janet Donnelly.

Funeral services were held privately with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.   Fred C. Dames Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A Memorial Mass for all Sue’s family and friends will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N. Chicago Street, Joliet.
