Obituary of Judith Ann Kella
Judith Ann “Judy” Kella, age 77, of Joliet, passed away Tuesday, Jone 15, 2021 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center Joliet.
She was born May 3, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Alexander and Helen (Goshorn) Kella and has been a resident of Joliet since 1949.
Judy is survived by her brother, John (Patty) Kella of Joliet, and sister, Linda (Tony) Regal of Arkansas. She is also the dear aunt of Raymond, Gary, June, and Sherry; and the great-aunt of Rebecca, Alexa, A.J. and Paul.
Judy, a client of Cornerstone Services, was an active volunteer at the Italian American Cultural Society and St. Joseph Medical Center. She also enjoyed singing in the choir at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, walking and listening to Elvis Presley.
Visitation for Judy Kella will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:30 a.m., until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 404 N. Hickory Street, Joliet. Cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
