Dear Ethel, Theresa and Shane,
My immediate family and I offer our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies in the passing away of your loving
husband and father. I have fond memories of Hermie in the early sixties while we were neighbors in Project IV. It was him and Buddy across the courtyard and me and Ramon on the other side which made a quorum for mahjong and card sessions. I believe Hermie got his 2nd lieutenant bars then. Buddy and Mon were doing college work and I was in high school. What I remember most about Hermie was his print writing. Popularly requested to write love letters at the time.
Sadly, for more than 50 years, our paths didn’t cross. May he Rest In Peace.
