I met Mary Ellen through activities with American Association of University Women (AAUW). She was a such a willing volunteer for our fund raising activities, in particular helping with food preparation, something she really liked doing! She was inquisitive and interested in the travel group. Her friendly face and cheerful demeanor has been missed lately in Springfield, but I remember many pleasant activities and conversations with her.
