Obituary of Barbara J. Dobbs

Barbara J. Dobbs, age 83, of Plainfield, formerly of Oak Park, IL, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.  She retired from West Suburban Kidney Center.

Barbara is the beloved wife of the late Hershel Ray Dobbs, Jr. (2007); loving mother of Mark (the late Caryn) Dobbs of Olathe, KS, and Karen (Brian) Youngdahl of Downers Grove; grandmother of Megan Nicole, Rachel Marie, and Tyler James Youngdahl; daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Badanish.

Visitation for Barbara J. Dobbs will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m.  Enshrinement will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Boy Scouts of America would be appreciated.
