Obituary of Jacqueline Snyder

Age 64, of Verona, IL passed from this life unexpectedly, Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Loyola University Medical Center.

She was born June 13, 1957 to Georgia (Crouch) and Jack Johnson in Oak Lawn, IL. where she was raised until she moved with her family to Geneva, IL.  Jackie was a graduate with the class of 1975 from Geneva High School.

Beloved wife of 37 years to Jeff Snyder; loving mother of John (Tammy) Snyder, Kathryn "Katie" (Kade) Vincent and Gerald "Jerry" (Amy) Snyder; proud and devoted grandmother of Austin, USMC, Evan US Army, Owen US Army, Emma and Stella; Vera and Vivian; Grady, Grant and Grahm; dearest daughter of Georgia and Jack; fond sister of Rebecca (Keith) Miller and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was employed as the Clerk of the Village of Verona and also at MVK grade school.  She was a people person who loved vacationing with her husband, however her passion was being a fun-loving, devoted grandma. She was also very proud of her military family starting with her father, as well as her sons, son-in-law and grandsons.

Private services will be held for Jackie's family and friends at Ward Cemetery in Verona.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a random act of kindness to a fellow human being or a contribution in her name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
