Obituary of Juli Ann Ibarra

Juli Ann Ibarra, of Shorewood, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Lightways Hospice, with her loving family by her side.  She was born June 28, 1949 in Chicago, to the late John Zuniga and Ann (Yasillo) Barrios.

Juli was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be remembered for her generous and giving personality and her wonderful cooking.  She was a devout Catholic and was devoted to her faith.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her adoring grandchildren, and she and her husband enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos throughout the country.  She also enjoyed bowling and playing Bunco in her earlier years.  She had a “Juli” way of doing things, was meticulous and very organized in all her affairs, and she loved a good coupon.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years, George Ibarra; her loving children, Adam (Jennifer) Ibarra of Princeton, and Kristin (David) Fletcher of Joliet; three beloved grandchildren, Isabella Ibarra, and Evelyn and Lincoln Fletcher; her dear brother and sister-in law, who were her best friends, David and Jan Barrios of Lockport; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friends.
