My thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of your Mom. While I didn’t know Mary, her children, step children and grandchildren are a tribute to her. I was happy to know some of them through my work at Joliet Catholic Academy. Gentle blessings to you all.

I was sad to learn of Mary's passing. The whole generation of wonderful women who mentored me into adulthood are gone now. She was a very strong, loving, and spirited woman who spoke her mind before women were invited to be any of those things. Mary, say hi to my mom Marge for me and I will see you both in due time. With love, Peggy DeChecko

To All of Marys Loved Ones,
Soooo sorry to hear about the passing of Mary. I have so many Happy Memories from when we first met. I met Mary when I was 19 and was a regular (haha) at Frank & Marys Duo for years. From sitting and talking to Mary multi nights a week listening to the Great bands she had, to then also meeting Mary Lou, Mike and Greg. Boy that was sooo long ago. Soo much fun by all! Mary moved around so fast I don't think anyone could keep up with her. I would see Mary and Roy out to dinner I think I Friday nights sometimes, always had to stop and say hello. Always exchanged Christmas cards. I'm sitting here just thinking of all the fun times celebrating at the Duo with our little group of friends from birthdays, New Years Eve, although we didn't need a special occasion to go have fun at the Duo. No places around like that anymore! Need to bring them back.
Again my deepest sympathy to all of Mary's family and friends. She is a Special Guardian Angel watching All!
Rest in Peace Mary!
