My deepest condolences to all of you on the passing of Joyce. I'm certain she was greeted by my mom, Gina. Joyce was my moms best friend for many years when they worked together at Job Corp, and many years after. Joyce was always there for my mom and was there for me as well to talk to when my mom was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. She was such a loyal friend and always made it a point to come visit my mom.
How very blessed you all are to have such wonderful memories of a strong, loving Mom and Grandma.

please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Mom Joyce. I knew her and your Dad as volunteers at Joliet Area Hospice. They made a great team and always were willing to do expos. I also volunteer there and many times would do a mailing with Joyce. Always enjoyed our time spent together. They are now in heaven together and I am sure are happy about that.
I have made a memorial in Joyces' name to Lighways.
Again my sympathy and prayers. Darlene Fagan

The Wahl Family,
My condolences to all during this difficult time! Joyce’s Smile and laugh lit up the Volunteer Department at Hospice! It was always a pleasure to work along side her and shared many stories! Knowing she and Roy are together celebrating their anniversary warms my heart!
Prayers and Hugs

Aunt Joyce was always happy and full of laughter and so much fun to be around. A few times when we were pretty young, I got to sleep over with Joanne and Suzanne for girls’ nights. Aunt Joyce was often was of us giggling “girls!” Uncle Roy was pretty smart and avoided the bedrooms until it was time for him to sleep and to try to quiet us down. He joked around and laughed too and they were a fun couple.
I miss them both and yet am glad that they are healthy and together in heaven. My Dad, her big brother, is probably trying to boss her around-laughing but the site won’t let me post emoji- but is definitely having fun with them and reuniting with their folks and others who passed before them.
I am so sorry for the loss for the family and hope that you take comfort that they are in God’s hands now. I love you and am sending prayers and hugs. Emoji for prayers, love and hugs
