I worked with Betty at Argonne and I’m sorry to hear of her passing. She was a great leader, respected everyone, and was fair and just to everyone she worked with. My deepest sympathy to the family, you have lost a good soul.

The Stories.. I used to baby sit for all of the Sullivan children sometimes getting you all to bed on time. I loved Betty Jane and enjoyed running into her and Doe and Ginny out and about as they shopped or lunched. Fondest Memories of all my Bannon Cousins, Family Reunions and feeling like we were related to the whole town. I think we were! My deepest sympathy to all of you as you walk the path we all have had to I am so sorry I live so far away but you will be remembered in my prayers and Masses. Know your Mom was a wonderful friend as well as a good mother. Betty Jane you are missed.

My favorite memories of my Aunt Betty Jane was celebrating Thanksgiving at their home in Joliet. There was always so many of us which meant lots & lots of dishes that needed to be washed. That was ok though because all the women were in the kitchen for hours which gave my Mom (Marian) and Aunt Betty plenty of time to tell stories and share what was going on in their lives at the time. She was very smart and always had something interesting to talk about. Rest In Peace Aunt Betty Jane. Love You. Sally
