Obituary of Joan D. Snodgrass
Joan Denese Snodgrass, age 87, of Prescott, AZ, and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on August 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born July 5, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Isabell Cullinane.
Joan grew up in Chicago and graduated from Hirsch High School.
She enjoyed her Red Hat Ladies and getting together with them.
Joan will be remembered for the love of her family and for her wisdom.
Survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Clarence Snodgrass; her children, Jeanne Krug and Edward (Heather) Snodgrass; grandchildren, Stephanie Hawrysio and Collin Snodgrass; great-granddaughter, Solvi Rollins; her sisters, Janice Gaston, Jeri McCabe, Jackie Peterson and Jeanne Cullinan; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt. 6 (at Deerpath Dr.) in Morris. The funeral services will be Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
