Roseann Grzelinski
(nee Sarcinelli)
Age 67, of Joliet, IL passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center after a long battle with lung disease.
Roseann was born April 4, 1954 to the late Lorraine (nee Parilla) and Michael Sarcinelli in Chicago, IL. She was raised in Burbank, IL and graduated from Reavis High School in 1972. Roseann worked as an office manager and comptroller in the automotive industry for many years. She also enjoyed her role as the manager of her daughter and son-in-law’s band, Five Pointe O. Roseann was most happy while working on her many gardens and potted plants. The ultimate light of her life was her grandson, Ethan. She also adored her rescue dog, Peppy.
Roseann was deeply loved by so many for her selfless devotion to all who entered her path. She prided herself as being “mom” to anyone that needed her.

Roseann is survived by her devoted daughters, Lisa Grzelinski (Jeremy Randolph) of Coal City, IL, and Sharon (Dan) Struble of Plainfield, IL, her beloved grandson, Ethan Randolph, her brother Michael (Karen) Sarcinelli, Jr. of Mokena, IL, her nephews Ted (Cheryl), Michael, Matthew, Gino, and Josh, as well as her great nieces and nephew.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Lorraine Sarcinelli, her father Michael Sarcinelli Sr., and her Aunts Josephine Tannura and LaVerne Florio.
Visitation for Roseann will be Wednesday September 22, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral services will begin Thursday morning at the funeral home with a prayer service at 9:15 a.m. and will continue to Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Facemasks will be observed at both the funeral home and church.
