Uncle Steve was such a warm person in my childhood memories, I know he was a great man, husband, father and grandfather. He carved a very special wedding present for me and Nick, a sign with our names and wedding date. It hangs in our house and is a beautiful reminder for us of that day but also of his thoughtfulness. I will think of him fondly each time I walk past it.
