Obituary of Delores L. Marini

Age 89, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday evening September 21, 2021.  Born October 26, 1931 to the late Louise (nee Barlow) and Gabriel Muir in Joliet and had resided in the Joliet area all her life.

Survived by her four children, Thomas (Linda) Marini, Robert (Cheryl) Marini, Lisa (William) Lucas and Sam Marini; four grandchildren, Shea (Chad) Fargher, Amy and Kevin Lucas and Ray Marini; step-granddaughter, Valerie Scardine; three great-grandchildren, Brayden Fargher, Makyla Fargher and Melissa Rae Lucas; one sister Wanda (Gordon) Mather; numerous nieces and nephews as well as her faithful feline, Marco.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond (1994); her father, Gabriel Muir; mother, Louise and stepfather, Walter Gora and three brothers, Dale (Gladys) Muir, William (Carol) Muir and Donald (Sharon) Muir.

As it was Delores' wish, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be held privately by the family at Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates in Lemont, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Lightways Hospice of Joliet would be appreciated.
