Obituary of Robert Griffith

Robert T. Griffith "Big Bob" Age 67, of Rockdale, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He was born November 30, 1942 in Minonk, IL to the late Alexander and Gladys Hamill. Robert was raised by Marvin and Edna Griffith and had resided in Rockdale for over the past 55 years. Survived by his aunt and uncle, Sue and Jim Ciarlette; cousins, James, Joseph, John, Jeff, Mary, Ann and Leonard Ciarlette whom he was close to, and Nancy Niznik; also survived by a niece Violet Haas. Preceded in death by his parents. As it was Bob's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Prayer Service will take place on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
