Obituary of Kenneth Grindstaff

Kenneth M. Grindstaff "Kenny Mac" Age 70. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Unicoi, TN, and a long time Joliet/Wilmington resident. A U.S. Navy veteran. Retired in 1993 from Electromotive Division of General Motors, after over 29 years of service. A member of the United Auto Workers Union Local #719. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed baseball. Preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Minnie Grindstaff; two brothers, Tom and Frank Grindstaff; and one nephew, Frank Grindstaff, Jr. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Wanda Grindstaff of Wilmington; one son, Kenneth (Toni) Grindstaff; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Grindstaff all of Crest Hill; one stepson, Timothy Stewart; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Grindstaff of Joliet; two nieces, Elaine and Donna; and one great-niece, Lynnese. Funeral Services for Kenneth M. Grindstaff will be Tuesday September 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with full military honors to be accorded at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Graveside.
