Obituary of Michael Clinton Skinner
Michael Clinton Skinner, late of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 17, 2021. Mike was born in Oak Lawn and was formerly of Crest Hill. He was a graduate of Lockport Township High School Class of 2004. During high school, he was part of the cross country, track and field program, as well as a member of the basketball team. Mike was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #130, most recently employed by R.R. Plumbing.
Mike was into physical fitness and was a true people person who lent a hand whenever needed. He was a loving son, brother, step-brother, and uncle.
Surviving is his loving mother, Joanne (Nick) Latzko; his father, Thomas Skinner; two brothers, Kyle (Pierra) Skinner and Chris (Emily) Skinner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews also survive.
He is preceded by his maternal grandfather, John Forden (2019); his uncle, Gerald J. Forden (2011).
Visitation for Michael Clinton Skinner will be Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, from 4:00 p.m. until Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately by the family.
