Obituary of Diane J. Zientek
Age 75, of Shorewood, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.
She was born on November 3, 1945 in Chicago, IL to John and Anna (nee Bruzas) Alberts.
Diane enjoyed baking and crafting but most of all spending time with her grandkids. She was an avid White Sox fan. During her retirement, she also enjoyed all the time she was able to spend with family and friends at the Kankakee River.
She is survived by her three loving children, Todd, David (Mia) Zientek and Amy (Jon) Ryan; four grandchildren, Madigan Zientek, David and Eliana Zientek and Blake Ryan; her brother-in-law, Ron Johnson; her nephew Keith (Dayana) Johnson; her niece, Kristine Johnson; special friend since high school, Judy Drabicki; and her canine companion, Buckley.
Diane is preceded by her beloved husband, Theodore J. “Ted” Zientek; her parents; and sister, Adrienne Johnson.
Memorial Gathering for Diane J. Zientek will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Facemasks are required at the funeral home. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
