Obituary of Joseph K.P. Moore
Joseph K.P. Moore, age 73, of Crest Hill, IL passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.
He was born May 24, 1948 in Richmond, Kentucky. Joe was a United States Army Veteran who served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Roberta (nee Krueger) Moore; daughter, Nora Moore; sons, David Moore, Steven Moore (Kelly) and Joseph Moore; grandchildren, Dominique, Lucas, Payton, Bruce, and Jordan. Joe will also be missed by Roberta’s family, the Krueger’s.
Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Virginia Stone Gowler and Harold Good Gowler; his father, Joseph Moore, and his brother, Virgil Gowler.
Joe was previously employed as an electronics technician. He was also a sketch artist proficient in graphite black and white drawings.
Visitation for Joe will be held Saturday November 6, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
